This saves a lot of up front costs, and ensures you are taxed as a business, not a consumer. It also establishes trust with suppliers and ensures you aren't accidently paying retail prices.
Congrats! There's always more to learn! Each state handles sales tax licensing a little bit different. For instance, Oregon doesn't even have sales tax, while some states require a re-sell license. Some only require a business license. You can reach out to your local SBDC for guidance!
